Seashine was founded in 1986 by Uzi Broshi as a means to put himself through art school. In 2005, Rod Kux joined Uzi, bringing an expanded knowledge and experience about boats, their systems and performance. Prior to retiring, Uzi taught Rod the skill of looking at each boat as piece of art, in return Rod promised Uzi that he will bring his passion of boats to the company.
Rod Kux brings a high level of customer satisfaction to the boat detailing business. Being an avid boater all his life, Rod understands what it takes to restore and protect the boats' beauty and treats each one like it is his own.
Rod's passion for boats began at the age of twelve when he learned to sail in the Mediterranean . He spent most of his youth racing 350's, 420's and laser boats, even competing against Gal Friedman, the 2004 Israeli Gold Olympic winner. As his experience and passion grew, he became a certified International skipper and spent three years in the Israeli Navy.
Rod's sailing enthusiasm has yet to dwindle. On the week-ends you can often find him racing on the bay.
